Dr. Shami is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Craniofacial Surgeon. He is dual board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. After completion of his rigorous training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, he completed two very competitive fellowships, one in Craniomaxillofacial Surgery under the world-renowed Craniofacial Surgeon, Dr. Bruce Horswell at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, WV. And another one in Orthognathic and Facial Aesthetic Surgery under another world-renowed Plastic Surgeon Dr. Jeffery Posnick at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC and Posnick Center for Facial Plastic Surgery in Chevy Chase, MD. They are only a few Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, who are accepted in these fellowships from all over the United States. There are even fewer Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in the US with Dr. Shami's training.

Dr. Shami completed his dental education at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He then went to the prestigious Cleveland Clinic to complete a fellowship in Oral Oncology. He then completed a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Shami is on staff at several hospitals. He is on Facial Trauma Team at Inova Fairfax Hospital, a level 1 trauma hospital, where he treats patients with complex facial trauma and reconstructive surgery. He also practices out of the hospital, where his special interests lie in the field of dental extractions, impacted wisdom teeth, surgical management of impacted teeth for orthodontic purposes, and dental implants.

Dr. Lam has been practicing orthodontics since 2003. He received his orthodontics training and DDS degree from New York University College of Dentistry and his Master of Health Science from John Hopkins University, School of Hygiene and Public Health. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Maryland.

Many patients have developed a fondness for Dr. Lam due to his down-to-earth nature, mainly because he always speaks his mind and feelings from his heart. Dr. Lam dedicates himself to his work and always treats his patients to the best of his ability.

Dr. Lam also dedicates his remaining free time to his family of three children. He enjoys listening to old records of his favorite albums and singers.

Dr. Le was born in Vietnam, migrated to Virginia with his family in 1993, and lived in this beautiful State ever since. He attended Annandale high school and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from George Mason University. After writing computer codes for a while, Dr. Le decided to become a dentist. He then graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2008 and began his dental career in 2009.

Dr. Le believes in technology to bring more quality and predictability to his treatment. He is also a firm believer in the idiom "practice makes perfect." Over a decade, he has taken numerous continuing education courses to advance his surgical and full-mouth reconstruction skills. He has successfully done thousands of dental implants and E.max ceramic veneers, crowns, and bridges. He was awarded one of the best 40 dentists in America under 40 years old in 2016.

Dr. Le is an avid sailer. He enjoys cruising along the beautiful Potomac River with friends and family on the weekend. He has four children and wishes them to follow in his footsteps one day.

Passionate and eager to help, Carla is ready to help our patients to make their experiences at our office always pleasant. With extensive knowledge in dealing with dental insurances, she has been a tremendous help in getting the reimbursement for dental treatment our patients deserve.

Carla is busy raising her two children. However, she always makes the time to take care of our patients' needs and carries a smile on her face throughout the busy work schedule. If you have any questions about billings and treatment planning, she is the go-to person to ask.

Ms. Analee has fine interpersonal qualities. She remembers all patients' faces and all the details about them. That is why she is very approachable, and our patients love her. Our orthodontics patients often speak highly of her.

Ms. Analee joined our team three years ago and has been a very crucial team member. Our practice relies heavily on her to keep the operation running smoothly. When not working, she enjoys cooking a good meal and singing along with her favorite tracks.

Mr. Santos has designed and fabricated thousands of custom and beautiful all-ceramic E.max crowns for the past ten years. His meticulousness to detail, coupled with a passion for his career, has brought many happy smiles to our patients. We call him a "super assistant" because of his extensive knowledge in all aspects of dentistry.

Mr. Santos holds a class II dental assistant accreditation, the highest form of training and achievement an assistant could have. In contrast, a vast majority of dental assistants out there do not have this certification.

As a father of two children, Mr. Santos always dedicates his free time to raising them and leading his life as best as possible to set an example for them to follow.
